Vector Leak Consultants Referral Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility
   • The prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 and over, residing in the UK, who successfully refer a qualifying project to Vector Leak Consultants.
   • Employees, partners, and direct family members of Vector Leak Consultants are not eligible to participate.
   • To enter the draw, participants must refer a project that meets Vector Leak Consultants’ qualifying criteria. Vector Leak Consultants reserves the right to determine project suitability at its sole discretion.
2. Qualifying Referrals
   • A qualifying referral must be a genuine project requiring buried leak detection services within the UK.
   • The referred project must be one that Vector Leak Consultants has not previously been introduced to or considered.
   • Referrals are considered valid if the referred project proceeds with Vector Leak Consultants for an initial site visit billed at our standard rate.
   • The referred individual or organization must consent to be contacted by Vector Leak Consultants.
3. Entry into the Prize Draw
   • Each qualifying referral counts as one entry into the prize draw.
   • Referrals that do not meet the qualifying criteria will not be eligible for entry.
   • There is no limit on the number of qualifying entries an individual can submit; each qualifying referral will count as an additional entry.
   • No purchase is necessary to enter or win the prize draw.
4. Prize
   • The prize for this draw is a reMarkable Paper Pro, valued at approximately £600.
   • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
   • Vector Leak Consultants reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond Vector Leak Consultants’ control make it necessary.
5. Draw Date and Winner Selection
   • The prize draw will take place on the 16^th of December 2024.
   • The winner will be selected at random from all qualifying entries received before the draw date.
   • The winner will be notified by phone on the draw date or by watching live on social media. If the winner does not respond within 7days, Vector Leak Consultants reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Declaration of Prize and Taxes
   • It is the sole responsibility of the prize winner to declare the prize to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) if applicable and to pay any taxes that may be due on the prize.
   • Vector Leak Consultants accepts no responsibility for any tax obligations or other liabilities arising from winning the prize.
   • Entrants must ensure that they have no existing or potential conflicts of interest when referring projects or accepting the prize.
7. Data Protection
   • Vector Leak Consultants will collect and process the personal information of participants for the purposes of administering this prize draw. The information will be processed in accordance with Vector Leak Consultants’ Privacy Policy.
   • By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name and any submitted details for publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. General Conditions
   • Vector Leak Consultants reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the prize draw if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
   • Vector Leak Consultants reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or has been made by fraud, dishonesty, or other unacceptable conduct.
   • By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any decision made by Vector Leak Consultants regarding the draw is final and binding in all matters.
9. Limitation of Liability
   • Vector Leak Consultants will not be liable for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any entrant entering the prize draw or as a result of accepting the prize.
   • Vector Leak Consultants accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind or any other reason beyond its reasonable control.

10. Governing Law
    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with this promotion.
